In a matter of 5 days, the world lost 4 people with household names: Ed McMahon (June 23), Farrah Fawcett (June 25), Michael Jackson (June 25), and most importantly (to me), Billy Mays (June 28).

Billy Mays was known for his many infomercials for various cleaning products among other things. His loud, persuasive voice gave him a unique style of product pitching that nobody could top. From Oxy Clean, to Orange Glo, to Mighty Putty, to many others, Mays worked hard to ensure that our lives could be that much easier and more convenient.

Most recently, Billy was involved in face off with Vince Offer (a.k.a. the ShamWow guy) involving their two towel products, the Zorbeez and the ShamWow respectively. In addition, he was finishing the first season of his Discovery series, Pitchmen, in which he and Anthony Sullivan star.

With Billy Mays dead, infomercials will never be the same. Whenever I see anyone on TV trying to sell something, I will always think of Billy and how much the TV world and I miss him. RIP Billy Mays. You were one hell of a salesman.

EDIT: I don't give a crap if he was jacked on coke. He was still an amazing person.

If this guy Tim Leiweke moves the New York Islanders to Kansas City, I'm going to be so insanely pissed (as will maybe a third of New York). Yes, I am aware that the Nassau Coliseum is in desperate need of a makeover and that they aren't getting a lot of funding, and the team itself is doing poor at the moment. Come on, NG. Tell me your thoughts on this (for the people who care about the Islanders). For the rest of you guys, how would you feel if one of your favorite teams could potentially be moved to a different part of the country?

It's finally here! The second annual Madness Day has arrived. Here, I pay tribute to one of the greatest men to ever walk this Earth: Matt Jolly, a.k.a. Krinkels, as well as his great creation, the Madness Combat series. Words cannot describe the amount of epic win in this day. Thank you, Krinkels, for all the hard work and determination that you put into your work in order to entertain us. Hopefully there will be many more Madness Days to come.
